Lawn care is something that I looked at quite a long time ago. I've always wanted to work outside. For over thirty years I had worked from two companies. Most customers contact you. In my experience most of my customers say yes, straight away. There is no hard sell required. If you are committed, do what you have been shown to do, put in the effort, there is no reason why you won't be successful.

I wanted a franchise that would afford me the lifestyle I was looking for and give me a good work / life balance. I knew I was going to work hard, but the one thing that was important tome was the flexibility to manage my own time. I am now working harder than ever before, but I am able to spend the quality time with my family that I have missed out on for so many years.

I had concerns about marketing my business on my own which were completely unfounded. For the first five years of my business I worked as a single van operation, gaining considerable experience in running the business and getting the best out of my customers' lawns. I took the decision to upgrade my business to a "multi-van" operation a year ago, recruiting my first employee. Now my main area of focus is marketing and growing the business. I can see me recruiting another employee within the next twelve months. I now own a business where I earn more than I did when employed, but with the advantage that I now have a work life balance and more time to spend with my growing family. I've never looked back.
