Extra Help is delighted to welcome its latest franchisee, Nicky Joyce, to its growing franchise network. Nicky will be running her Extra Help® franchise in the Torbay area.
Nicky lives in Torquay and is married with two, teenage sons. She originally trained as a nurse thirty years ago and has been working for the NHS ever since. As the manager of the Acute Admissions Unit at her local hospital, she recently completed a BSC Honours degree in Health and Social Care and thoroughly enjoys helping nurses to develop their careers.
However, Nicky decided she needed a new challenge and came across Extra Help® online. She decided to go for it and, having recently attended a comprehensive, two-day, training course, she is now up and running and ready to start building her business.
What is Extra Help®?
Extra Help® is a national, home-help and domestic services, franchise network. We were originally set up to respond to the needs of elderly people living independently who required help with everyday tasks, such as shopping, cleaning and meal preparation.
Helping the elderly remains our passion, however, we also provide services to new and working parents, time-poor professionals and just about anyone who needs assistance in their day-to-day lives.
A flexible business with multiple income streams
Initially, Nicky plans to focus on Extra Help® for the Elderly, as this is where her existing experience lies. She also intends to promote the cleaning side of the business, as she knows many professional couples personally who would appreciate having more free time. As time goes on and her business grows, she will start to branch out and consider offering more of Extra Help®‘s services.
Nicky is totally convinced she made the right decision to join Extra Help® and is looking forward to many years of building a successful business, whilst making an enormous difference within her local community.
