Tidy Green Clean, the leading environmentally friendly commercial cleaning business that operates on a franchise model, has welcomed two new key members of the senior team to the business. A new Regional Director (Specialist Services) Jake Robertson has joined the team, alongside Michael Robertson as Tidy Green Clean’s first Business Development Manager.

Jake Robertson joins Tidy Green Clean as its first Regional Director (Specialist Services) division, providing a new range of more specialist cleaning services for TGC customers all over Scotland and the North East of England. These services include regulatory cleaning for commercial extractor fans and deep cleaning, also known as TR19 Deep cleansing. He says, “I have been operating my own business for over a year and then I met Andrew Alleway and David Moncur and I really liked their business model. They had an opportunity they wanted to fill for a specialist service provider and I was looking for more support, something that matched my own ethics and values, and so it seemed like a really good fit.” Jake joins TGC following several years in the police and five years in the Royal Marines.

Michael Robertson joins Tidy Green Clean from a commercial sales and onshore engineering background. His role is to develop national and regional business opportunities that can then be deployed at a regional franchise level by TGC’s Regional Directors and their teams. Michael says, “This is a challenging and exciting role in a business that has a huge story to tell. I am very pleased and excited to join Tidy Green Clean and be part of such a successful team.”

These appointments come at a critical moment for TGC as many of their clients and new clients are looking at ways to manage their office mobilisations after lockdown. Tidy Green Clean’s MD, Andrew Alleway stated, “It’s a pivotal time to bring in Jake and Michael to the business. We’ve been working closely and carefully with our clients to ensure that post-lockdown, their every hygiene and cleaning requirement is supported and managed properly. Jake’s in an ideal position to further those opportunities rapidly, while Michael is going to be strategically important in reaching more of the larger national contracts we are seeking. The second half of 2020 is already going much better than previously forecast and we are optimistic and focused about the next stage of our growth.”
