Darlington based Drain Doctor®, the UK’s largest full service combined domestic and commercial plumbing and drainage franchise organisation, has signed a new sponsorship deal with Darlington Rugby Football Club (RFC) for the 2019/20 season.
The deal sees Drain Doctor Teeside become one of the club’s sponsors, which includes advertisements of its services within Darlington RFC and sponsorship for the 2nd XV team shirts.
Mark Popplewell, Director of Drain Doctor Teesside, said: “The partnership between Drain Doctor and Darlington Rugby Club is a natural fit and we are delighted to be able to support the club for this year, as well as the 2nd XV team’s new shirts. I am a keen rugby fan, and having grown up in the area, I wanted to show support for my local club and the Darlington community.”
Speaking about the sponsorship deal, Captain of the 2nd XV team David Toft, said: “I am delighted to announce that Drain Doctor has agreed a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with Darlington Rugby Club. To have a local company like Drain Doctor give their support to the club is great news and strengthens the relationship between local businesses and the rugby club. We are really looking forward to working with Mark and his team over this coming season.”
Based at Blackwell Meadows, Darlington RFC is an inclusive, community club organisation where everyone is welcome and all levels of playing ability are catered for, from mini and junior levels through to seniors.
