Award-winning franchise PetStay welcomed new branch owner Rachel to the team as she relaunches the PetStay Wakefield & Castleford branch.
Rachel, who lives in West Yorkshire with her family and two cocker spaniels, Buddy and Tess, hopes to grow the branch to provide an amazing service to dog owners in her local area.
“After collecting Buddy and Tess from a kennel they’d stayed in while we were away, I was completely ignored. Both dogs seemed different and it took them a few days home before I was forgiven.” Said Rachel. “It was very clear I had to make alternative arrangements!”
PetStay offered Rachel the loving alternative to kennels she and her dogs were looking for. They received a home from home service that left both dogs feeling a lot happier. Then, when the opportunity to take over the branch came Rachel jumped at the chance.
PetStay have been established in the UK since 2005 and franchised the home-based business in 2012. Since franchising, they have grown to 39 branches nationwide with over 600 home checked, licensed and insured dog carers. Over the years PetStay has established an excellent reputation for providing a home from home environment for dogs, using hand-picked local and fully licensed carers who offer the best possible care for dogs while their owners are away on holiday. Something newcomer Rachel had struggled with as a dog owner themselves.
