Radfield Home Care Havering & Brentwood franchise partner, Jennie Bardrick has been shortlisted for the prestigious British Franchise Association HSBC Next Generation Franchisee Award.
Becoming dissatisfied with the corporate world, at the age of 29, Jennie Bardrick decided she wanted to run her own business within her local community. Passionate about improving the lives of others and older people, Jennie and her cousin joined the Radfield Home Care network in 2017.
Investing in the Havering & Brentwood territory, Jennie, now 32, has developed a successful and rewarding business, providing high-quality care to numerous clients and creating jobs for dozens of local people.
The success of the Essex-based home care provider has led to numerous accolades in recent years for both its focus on quality care as well as business development. Jennie’s shortlisting in the Next Generation category at the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards is the latest prestigious award they have been shortlisted for, with the winner announced at the Vox, Birmingham, on November 30. The Next Generation award is open to any franchisee aged 35 and under.

Franchising has given me an incredible opportunity to enter a sector which is highly rewarding, gives me a chance to make a difference to the lives of older people, and brings me a work life balance that I could only have dreamed of before.” Jennie explained.
Pip Wilkins QFP, CEO of the bfa, said: “After attending a bfa franchise exhibition three years ago, Jennie has worked incredibly hard on scaling up her business, growing from 0 to 500 hours of care per week within nine months of operating it.”

Jennie’s Next Generation shortlisting follows Radfield Home Care’s success in 2019, when it was crowned Emerging Franchisor of the Year.
