New TaxAssist practices will be launching in Hertford and Gerrards Cross.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, and the need for virtual discovery days and training courses, TaxAssist is pleased to continue its successful onboarding of new franchisees, with two new joiners completing their initial training course today.

The two new TaxAssist Accountants who will shortly be launching their practices are: Adam Badi, who will operate from Hertford and Monika Joshi, who will be operating a practice in Gerrard Cross with her husband Amit, who already runs successful practices in Chesham and Hemel Hempstead.

Monika has worked alongside Amit for the last two years managing the Hemel practice and is excited to be launching in a new territory.

“I have seen first-hand how effective the TaxAssist model, strategies and support structures are,” said Monika. “The shop concept works brilliantly at driving client walk-ins and helps us to stand out from the crowd, and we are currently searching for the right premises to operate from in our new territory.”

Adam, a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) with nearly two decades’ experience in the music industry, started his own practice in 2013, but turned to TaxAssist Accountants to take his practice to the next level.

“It was a rewarding few years helping sole traders and small businesses, but at times I lacked the confidence, capacity and resources to take on more clients to enable my firm to grow like other more established practices,” said Adam.

“I had considered for some time joining or merging with larger practices and was very close to doing so, but I couldn’t stomach the idea of surrendering my independence and entering into a protracted profit-sharing agreement with people I didn’t know.

“For me joining the TaxAssist family was a step in the right direction, allowing me to retain ownership of my practice. There is also the added bonus of being part of a network of like-minded people and having an army of helpers in the Support Team to look out for me through each step of the process of forming a successful business.”
