Since opening for business in 2015 My Best Friend Dog Care has gone from strength to strength.
I have always had a passion for dogs and wanted to escape the rat race so in May 2015 decided to have a complete lifestyle change and founded My Best Friend Dog Care. With a background in franchising, it was always my intention to share this great opportunity with other like-minded entrepreneurial dog loves and offer a best in class franchise proposition and in 2017 we opened our second location. Since then we have continued to grow and in November 2019 we are pleased to say we have just signed up our 10th Franchise partner!! James came to us with a clear goal of starting and developing a dog walking business in his local area. He didn’t want to offer our dog home boarding or doggy daycare services and that was just fine. We helped him achieve his goals and he is now walking an average of 12 dogs every day and enjoying an income of over £2,000 per month.
My Best Friend are the only major dog care business operating in Northern Ireland. Kieran had a different objective and wanted to develop a home-based doggy daycare business as well as providing home boarding services through a team of carefully selected Carers. 2019 will be Kieran’s first full year of trading and he is on track to generate turnovers of £45,000.
At the time of writing we are in the process of on-boarding new business partners in Burntwood in the Midlands, Chigwell in Essex and Andover in Hampshire and plan to open a further 5 locations throughout 2020.
