Months of uncertainty surrounding international travel and a heightened awareness of hygiene during the pandemic has created a huge demand for the services of oven cleaning franchise, Ovenu.<\/p>\n

Founder and managing director Rik Hellewell reports the majority of its more than 120 franchises throughout the UK are experiencing an extremely healthy level of advanced bookings.<\/p>\n

As a result, several franchisees have taken on sub-contractors in recent months to cope with the increased demand, while those launching in new territories have been able to hit the ground running.<\/p>\n

Rik said: \u201cEver since the start of the year Ovenu has seen a high demand for its services, and there has been no let up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe months of uncertainty surrounding international holidays, meant many opted for shorter staycations or weekends away, which meant they had more money to spend on the home and garden<\/p>\n

\u201cMany people have also been spending more time in their homes, which has included a new-found love of home cooking and baking. As well as ovens being used much more regularly, the pandemic has contributed to a greater appreciation of the importance of hygiene<\/p>\n

\u201cThe summer months are normally less busy as clients jet off to more exotic climes, but this summer has rivalled Christmas in terms of peak bookings.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur franchisees were also able to quickly instil confidence among their clients by following strict Covid-secure procedures.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of our franchises have had no let up in demand since Christmas, with many being booked up a month or more in advance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to regular clients, our franchisees have also welcomed many new customers. That has caused several to take on sub-contractors, while those starting a business from scratch have hit the ground running in terms of being able to quickly establish a healthy customer base.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe big question is whether this is a long-term trend of a temporary pandemic- inspired blip. I\u2019m optimistic that the renewed interest and appreciation in home cooking and hygiene is something that is here to stay.<\/p>\n

\u201cOvenu has also been able to capitalise on the demand because it is a trusted market leader, with additional business gained through personal recommendation.\u201d<\/p>\n

That was highlighted earlier this year when more than 80 Ovenu franchisees were honoured by online review platform Trustist during its inaugural awards.<\/p>\n

A total of 37 franchisees won a Diamond accolade in the Trustist Top Performing Franchisee category, ten won Gold, 17 Silver, and 18 Bronze \u2013 all based on their excellent client reviews.<\/p>\n
