The need to show gratitude and appreciation for carers has never been more prominent in the care sector. The rising cost of living and limited industry resources have heavily impacted operations within care businesses in the UK throughout 2022. But throughout these difficulties, \u2018carer-centric\u2019 in-home care provider, Visiting Angels, has celebrated an illustrious year across its fast-growing network. Recruiting almost 100 carers every month and having welcomed 12 new franchisees this year alone, Visiting Angels has further affirmed its position as one of the country\u2019s leading care providers. The brand is primed to continue trailblazing in the industry throughout 2023 and beyond.<\/p>\n

On 25th<\/sup> November, the UK network came together to celebrate these shared successes. With the theme of \u2018A thousand tiny thank-yous\u2019, the 2022 conference was an ideal opportunity for franchisees to reflect on the last 12 months. Attendees were also given opportunity to learn from industry-leading experts in the franchise and care industries. Keynote speakers included Olympic gold medallists, Roger Black MBE and Steve Backley OBE of BackleyBlack performance coaching, experienced frontline veteran Tammy Banks and business coach, Kevin Aires, among others. Speakers shared their insights and ideas for applying expert business acumen in parallel with a key element of Visiting Angels\u2019 mission – to redefine the role of carers in society and, by so doing, deliver a new standard of person-centred care.<\/p>\n

With the brand\u2019s commitment to putting carers at the heart of the business Visiting Angels UK, led by Managing Director, Dan Archer, is already leading the charge as an ethical care employer.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s imperative that ethical care providers continue to nurture the wellbeing of their dedicated teams and care staff,\u201d said Dan. \u201cThis year has been incredibly successful and I\u2019m immensely proud of the achievements we\u2019ve celebrated in the domestic care sector and as an international brand. We\u2019ve continued to provide unmatched, passion-driven services to our clients and we\u2019ll use this year as a springboard to achieve exactly what we set out to do when we launched Visiting Angels UK in 2017 \u2013 to help reform the industry from within.<\/p>\n

Later, at a black-tie event, awards were presented to the franchisees and exceptional care staff who contributed to the success of the in-home care provider throughout the year. Recipients of the awards were:<\/p>\n

    After just five years in the UK and four years of franchising, Visiting Angels has also placed fifth on the Elite Franchise Top 100 league table for in-home care providers.
