Tim and Jenny Heaney bought the Seniors Helping Seniors Guildford, Godalming and Woking franchise in February 2022. Less than one year later, they bought another Seniors Helping Seniors franchise in Tonbridge.<\/p>\n

Tim was working with Seniors Helping Seniors, when, as the saying goes, he \u2018loved the services so much, he bought the company!\u2019<\/p>\n

The franchise attracts professionals who want to go into business for themselves and want to give back at the same time so, Tim\u2019s journey into Care, via an international career in luxury brand retail management is not unusual for Seniors Helping Seniors.
\nLike many people, he looked into franchising at a cross roads in his career. Care experience is not required for business owners. Tim provided care for a period during Covid.<\/p>\n

Tim recognised the client-first approach of high-end retail in Seniors Helping Seniors. \u201cIt was refreshing to see outstanding customer service in care.\u201d The franchise attracts professionals who want to go into business for themselves and want to give back at the same time.<\/p>\n

The organisation works hard to ensure carers love the work. Carers earn above the Real Living Wage. Carer support is outstanding. There is no rushing with clients and the company\u2019s People Strategy is industry leading. Seniors Helping Seniors won the Living Wage Foundation\u2019s Champion award for the Care Sector in 2021.<\/p>\n

The Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and West Malling territory became available due to the owner\u2019s ill health.<\/p>\n

Companionship based services are out of scope for the Care Quality Commission. Clients enjoy years of independence with support from carers who prompt and guide. Eventually personal care services are needed, and clients want continuity. Seniors Helping Seniors does not charge any extra to support partners who want to add CQC regulated services.
