The very first Just Cuts Owner has just handed over the scissors to her salon of 33 years to spend more time with her grandchildren, and says her key to success is to follow the proven and award winning Just Cuts franchise system.<\/p>\n

Leigh Anne Brosens began her career as a 17-year-old hairdressing apprentice working with Just Cuts Founder Denis McFadden, who has thanked Leigh-Anne for choosing to open a Just Cuts salon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen she told me she wanted to open her own salon I thought it would be as a competitor, I was surprised it was a franchise she was asking for,\u201d said Denis. \u201cSo we got the legal documents sorted and our Just Cuts journey began with the opening of Just Cuts Engadine in 1990.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust Cuts is a family-owned business, and Leigh-Anne\u2019s become a key part of our family of owners over our many years in business together. More than saying goodbye, I want to say thank you to Leigh-Anne for believing in me and recognising the value of the Just Cuts brand before I did.”<\/p>\n

\u201cI congratulate Leigh-Anne on decades of not only her own salon success, but on also working with the Academy Team to make our model even better as we continue to evolve to futureproof the franchise businesses of the next generation of salon Owners, and cater to new generations of Clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leigh-Anne said she chose to sell her business to spend more time with her family, and is glad to be selling the small business she built on her terms.<\/p>\n

\u201cI already babysit my grandchildren 3 days a week, and the 5th is due in January, and they are all under 4. I\u2019m glad someone else now has the opportunity to keep growing the business I built. All they need to succeed is to stick to the Just Cuts system, because it just works,\u201d said Leigh-Anne.<\/p>\n

\u201cDenis taught me how to cut hair and it\u2019s what I\u2019ve always loved. When I fell pregnant, I asked Denis about opening my own salon because I believed in him \u2013 and I still do. I also couldn\u2019t have done this without my husband Greg. He\u2019s been my biggest supporter on my Just Cuts journey since day one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMost of all I\u2019ve loved the built in flexibility you have as a Just Cuts owner. I could give birth just months after opening and take the time I needed to raise all 3 of my daughters, and even my Stylists started as full time and came back part time after having their children. In fact, 2 Stylists have been with me for over 3 decades at Just Cuts Engadine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leigh-Anne says much has changed over her three decades as a Just Cuts salon owner and Stylist.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe used to do it all in the 80s,\u201d said Leigh-Anne. \u201cBowl cuts were big for kids when I opened, now it\u2019s all about mullets. I\u2019m also glad to leave docket books behind. Our new technology has really helped, and my husband said now I won\u2019t have check the owner\u2019s app every morning on my phone.\u201d<\/p>\n
