After being made redundant for the second time as a nanny, Nikki Keyte, wasn\u2019t sure what to do next.<\/p>\n

Passionate about travel, she put a post on Facebook asking people for advice on how she could get her foot in the door without any former experience in the industry.<\/p>\n

A home-based Not Just Travel consultant saw it and suggested Nikki worked for her to see if it was something she enjoyed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as I started the company\u2019s 5-day training I knew I\u2019d made the right decision,\u201d says Nikki.<\/p>\n

Six months later Nikki launched her own Not Just Travel consultancy by investing in The Travel Franchise. It\u2019s a decision she\u2019s never regretted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love it, I don’t feel like it\u2019s work,\u201d says Nikki. \u201cI enjoy every aspect and I get the same buzz now as I did when I made my first booking!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nikki loves her flexible job so much she takes her laptop on holiday with her. And in January, she booked 11 holidays while on a trip to Dubai!<\/p>\n

And Nikki says it didn\u2019t interrupt her holiday one bit! In fact she says it made it as the money she made paid for the holiday!<\/p>\n

\u201cI can never sleep in, so I got up at 6.30am, sat on the balcony, booked some holidays then had a lovely day out with my husband.\u201d<\/p>\n

And this wasn\u2019t a one off! The weekend before her Dubai trip, she booked two holidays while on a Warner holiday UK break.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was sitting there doing the bookings on my laptop and a few people asked what I was up to. I gave out eight business cards and got four inquiries!<\/p>\n

Now Nikki has a huge number of repeat bookings and referrals.<\/p>\n

But that won\u2019t, of course, stop her travelling.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast year I took about 10-11 holidays travelling to Cape Verde, Las Vegas, Cyprus, Greece, Majorca, Portugal and Benidorm and this year I plan to visit Dubai, Majorca, Portugal, Croatia, Benidorm, Tenerife, Cape Verde and Las Vegas (for the 15th time).<\/p>\n

So what does she put her success down to?<\/p>\n

Nikki says she tells her husband she has to go on holidays in order to sell them!<\/p>\n

But she\u2019s clearly got a knack for getting to know what a customer wants and she\u2019s also befriended many other consultants who all help each other on a daily basis if their stuck.<\/p>\n

So has it changed her life?<\/p>\n

\u201cOne hundred per cent! I\u2019m earning more now than I earned nannying and I\u2019m getting to see the world too!\u201d<\/p>\n
