Tutor Doctor\u2019s groundbreaking \u2013 and award-winning \u2013 Schools Delivery Programme is transforming the way franchisees grow their businesses. Launched in July 2023, the pilot scheme, spearheaded by established franchisees like Rob & Lynne Kerrison and Piyush & Smita Gupta, has been rolled out among the whole UK network, allowing Tutor Doctor franchisees to tap into a revolutionary new revenue stream \u2013 and kick off 2025 with considerable success under their respective belts.<\/p>\n

By partnering with schools and local authorities, franchisees around the UK have seen remarkable success, not only helping them and their businesses thrive but also, importantly, reaching those students who need support the most.<\/p>\n

Rob Kerrison, owner of Tutor Doctor Cambridge, has now worked with over 50 schools in his territory. \u201cHaving built lasting connections with the schools and local authority in my area over recent years, it was clear that the potential for real growth as a network was vast,\u201d said Rob.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I started tapping into this new opportunity, Tutor Doctor gave me all the freedom I needed to explore it, which was invaluable. It may be unusual in franchising, but Tutor Doctor really listens to franchisee feedback. They recognised it was a new revenue stream with lots of potential and as they began developing the scheme for the wider network, we were in continuous contact to refine the approach.\u201d<\/p>\n

With 65% of his business now coming from Rob\u2019s work with schools, he is not surprised about the success it has had on fellow franchisees\u2019 businesses. \u201cThe Schools Delivery Programme has been revolutionary for the network \u2013 presenting the opportunity for business owners to achieve turnovers in excess of a million pounds. This is very much the current reality and is certainly a realistic goal for franchisees.\u201d<\/p>\n

Piyush and Smita Gupta, multi-territory owners of Tutor Doctor Peterborough and Huntingdon & Stamford, has also seen their business transformed by the Schools Delivery Programme. Since joining Tutor Doctor in 2016 and expanding in 2019, Piyush and Smita has always been keen to explore new opportunities, and like Rob, they quickly saw the immense potential in working with schools and local authorities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all recognised that schools were the way to go,\u201d says Piyush. \u201cWe approached Tutor Doctor with our ideas, and it was refreshing to see them give us the freedom to explore this opportunity while also developing the business model so that the whole network had the backing to confidently deliver the same service. They trusted our instincts and built something truly impactful.\u201d<\/p>\n

In just two years, Piyush and Smita\u2019s turnover has trebled, and the rewards go far beyond financial success. \u201cTapping into schools has allowed my whole family to work in the business. After a corporate career, having the chance to work on something much more meaningful has been incredibly rewarding. It\u2019s a great feeling to know we\u2019re making a real difference to students who need our help.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the scheme now firmly established, Piyush is proud to see other franchisees across the UK benefiting from the same opportunities. The programme has proven to be a win-win, helping Tutor Doctor franchisees thrive while supporting local communities in a significant and lasting way.<\/p>\n

Mark Szpak, Vice President of Field Operations at Tutor Doctor, credits the success of the Schools Delivery Programme to the innovation and initiative of franchisees like Rob and Piyush. \u201cThanks to their vision and hard work, we were able to develop and formalise the scheme for the entire network.<\/p>\n
