This article features two remarkable stories from our newest franchise directors, Kerem Bektas and Nick Pool, who have recently embarked on their exciting paths in the Stevenage, Hitchin, and Bedford areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kerem Bektas \u2013 A Whirlwind of Success and Community Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kerem Bektas, our Super Star Sport NHB Franchise Director, describes his initial month as a blend of achievements and learning opportunities. One significant triumph includes booking 50 free sports sessions across various early years settings, with 17 already delivered and receiving outstanding feedback. This outreach has not only encouraged active lifestyles among young children but also led to eight settings signing up for ongoing sessions. Furthermore, Kerem\u2019s initiative at Carlton Primary School, involving PE lessons and after-school clubs, has garnered praise from both the institution and parents, highlighting the positive influence of sports on children\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p>Despite personal challenges faced by his business partner, Nick, Kerem has adeptly managed to sustain and grow their operations, demonstrating the resilience and supportive spirit of the franchise model.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick Pool \u2013 Learning and Growing Through Early Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nick Pool reflects on his recent start in 2025 as a time of active engagement and personal growth. By conducting 17 taster sessions since January, and successfully converting half into new partnerships, Nick underscores the importance of understanding and conveying the value of one\u2019s business. He credits his business partner for providing essential support through personal hardships, emphasizing the critical role of reliable partnerships in overcoming obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>Both Kerem and Nick have established strong foundations for their franchises, with ongoing support from the head office and continuous efforts to expand their outreach and team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As they progress, both franchisees are enthusiastic about the future and the opportunities to further their impact on children\u2019s health and happiness through sports.
