We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our very own BabyBeats franchisees, Shannon from RCT (Rhondda Cynon Taf), who has just been awarded the prestigious Postnatal Fitness Service of the Year – Wales (Rhondda Cynon Taf) by the Prestige Awards!

This incredible recognition is not only a testament to Shannon’s passion, dedication and connection with the families she supports, it also highlights how the franchise model can empower everyday women to create something extraordinary.

From Local Mum to Award-Winning Business Owner

Like many BabyBeats franchisees, Shannon came to us with a desire to make a difference in her local community while still being present for her own family. With a young daughter of her own, she knew the importance of prescriptive postnatal exercise, early connection, maternal wellbeing and overall support for new mothers during the postpartum period.

Since launching her BabyBeats business in January 2024 in RCT, Shannon has built a thriving community of parents and babies who adore her calm, welcoming approach. It is no surprise her classes have now received such incredible recognition.

When asked what winning this award meant to her, Shannon said:

“This award means the world. It’s a reflection of all the love and energy I’ve poured into BabyBeats since starting. I’ve seen how life changing these classes are for mums and babies and I’m so proud to be part of something bigger than me.”

While Shannon’s success is all her own, she’s quick to credit the support that comes from being part of the BabyBeats franchise network. From business training and ongoing mentorship, to marketing resources and peer-to-peer encouragement, Shannon never felt like she was doing it alone.

“Starting your own business can be overwhelming, but being part of the BabyBeats family meant I had guidance at every step. It’s given me the tools and confidence to grow something that feels truly aligned with my purpose and now, to win an award for that is just surreal.”

What This Means for Future Franchisees

Shannon’s story shows what’s possible when passion meets the right platform. With BabyBeats, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel, you’re supported with a proven model, expert training and a community that wants you to succeed.

Whether you’re looking to make a career change, work flexibly around your children or finally start something for yourself, Shannon’s success is proof that it’s possible.
