{"id":6984,"date":"2020-10-13T11:27:40","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T10:27:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.franchiselocal.co.uk\/news\/?p=6984"},"modified":"2020-10-13T11:23:49","modified_gmt":"2020-10-13T10:23:49","slug":"franchise-family-turns-over-a-record-222000-in-one-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.franchiselocal.co.uk\/news\/franchise-family-turns-over-a-record-222000-in-one-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Franchise Family Turns Over A Record \u00a3222,000 In One Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><h3>A Franchisee family worked together to achieve a record-breaking monthly turnover of more than \u00a3222,000.<\/h3>\n<p>The team at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiselocal.co.uk\/dream-doors\/\">Dream Doors<\/a> Stoke sold \u00a3222,566 worth of kitchen makeover projects in September, setting a new record within the UK\u2019s #1 kitchen makeover company.<\/p>\n<p>Dream Doors Stoke is owned by former engineer Allan James (main image, second right) who employs his son Glyn (right) as showroom manager, his other son Martin (left) as a fitter and his nephew Kelvin Fradley (second left) as his sales director.<\/p>\n<p>Also on the team is Kelvin\u2019s daughter Joy Fell, who is a showroom administrator, and Allan\u2019s nephew by marriage Richard Ridgeway, who is also a fitter (both pictured separately).<\/p>\n<p>Kelvin Fradley said: <em>\u201cWhen you get a good month like September was there are a number of factors involved, which always includes a bit of luck, but there\u2019s no magic button to push&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe do the same things week in and week out and you just have some weeks where it really clicks into place \u2013 we just happen to have had three or four weeks like that in a row&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s all a team effort and I\u2019m of the belief that there\u2019s no such thing as a duff lead; if it\u2019s potentially an order for \u00a3600 or \u00a36,000, it doesn\u2019t matter, because you never know what that sale will turn into until you go and talk to the customer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kelvin added: <em>\u201cI think being a family business is our biggest strength and we do our best to support each other.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prior to Dream Doors Stoke setting a new turnover record, the largest turnover in the Dream Doors network was \u00a3213,000, achieved by the Oxford showroom in June 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Franchisee family worked together to achieve a record-breaking monthly turnover of more than \u00a3222,000.
