At Encouraging Women into Franchising<\/strong> (EWiF), we focus on supporting women looking for a route into the franchise industry. Our mission is to educate<\/strong>, inspire<\/strong> and empower<\/strong> as many women as possible about franchising.<\/p>\n

One of our most inspiring events, is the Annual Awards Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of women in franchising. This year, the NatWest EWiF Award were held online, and combined a \u201cmini\u201d conference with the ceremony.<\/p>\n

So, without further ado, drum roll please as we announce this year\u2019s winners\u2026<\/p>\n

New Woman Franchisor of the Year, sponsored by Daisy First Aid<\/h4>\n

Becky Hoare, Pop Up Play Village Ltd<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Becky franchised Pop Up Play Village in February 2018, after only launching in 2017, and now has eight franchisees. In 2019, Becky developed EYFS and KS1 curriculum planning, enabling her to take Pop Up Play Village into schools and nurseries.<\/p>\n

Woman Franchisor of the Year,\u00a0sponsored by Hitachi Capital Franchise Finance<\/h4>\n

Lucy Campbell, Right at Home UK<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Joining Right at Home UK five years ago, Lucy uses her experience and values-based leadership style to drive a culture of trust. In 2019, in recognition of her commitment to RaH, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n

New Woman Franchisee of the Year, sponsored by NatWest<\/h4>\n

Fiona Cochrane, Little Movers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fiona overcame severe anxiety, to follow her heart and become a franchisee with Little Movers UK. Fiona\u2019s classes are sold out every<\/strong> term. She has a waiting list for Care Homes wanting to host sessions.<\/p>\n

Woman Franchisee of the Year, sponsored by McDonald\u2019s Restaurants<\/h4>\n

Catharine Chalton, Home Instead Senior Care<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Catharine was an early adopter of the Home Instead franchise, opening her business at the start of 2007. In 2019, she\u2019d employed 180 staff, achieved a turnover of \u00a32.8m, and received an \u2018outstanding\u2019 rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).<\/p>\n

Louise Evans, Revive!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Louise was employed by Revive! in July 2014 as a bookkeeper. Her dedication to diligence shone through, and Louise was promoted to the Management Team.<\/p>\n

Young Woman in Franchising of the Year,\u00a0sponsored by Darwin Gray<\/h4>\n

Rachel Fay, Little Learners<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 29, Rachel is the Managing Director and Franchisor of Little Learners. 2019 was a massive year for Little Learners, as they launched as a global brand, into Australia.<\/p>\n

Suzie McCafferty, Platinum Wave<\/strong><\/p>\n

Suzie is one of the UK\u2019s most prominent franchise consultants, with Platinum Wave, and has almost 20 years in the industry. She\u2019s also a successful franchisor, with two international brands of her own. She is also starting a new role in 2021 as EWiF Regional Chair for our new Scottish region!<\/p>\n

Jenni Dunman, Daisy First Aid<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jenni is the CEO of Daisy First Aid, and recently launched a new success mindset business. In 2019, Jenni\u2019s thriving network has 97 franchises, training around 100,000 parents a year.<\/p>\n

Kieran James, Stryde<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kieran runs Stryde, offering accountancy, training and business plan support to the franchise industry. In 2019 he became Regional Chair for the North East. A true EWiF Ambassador Kieran also supported other Regional Chairs, attended 10 EWiF regional events, and the Awards and Conference.<\/p>\n

Our Overall Woman in Franchising 2020, <\/strong>presented by Pip Wilkins, CEO of the bfa, was chosen from amongst all winners. Well done to Louise Evans from Revive!.<\/p>\n
