{"id":7213,"date":"2020-11-10T10:35:58","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T10:35:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.franchiselocal.co.uk\/news\/?p=7213"},"modified":"2020-11-10T10:28:19","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T10:28:19","slug":"dream-doors-franchisee-follows-in-friends-footsteps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.franchiselocal.co.uk\/news\/dream-doors-franchisee-follows-in-friends-footsteps\/","title":{"rendered":"Dream Doors Franchisee Follows In Friend\u2019s Footsteps"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><p>Franchisee Neil Fisher followed in the footsteps of a childhood friend to launch his own Dream Doors trading territory.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to opening his kitchen makeover showroom in Barnham, Neil worked in sales management in the motor industry for more than 20 years in his native South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>However, when Neil decided the time was right for a change, he was convinced by a friend from school to join the UK\u2019s #1 kitchen makeover company.<\/p>\n<p>Neil said: \u201cI joined Dream Doors in 2015 because I wanted to have my own business and I was looking for something new to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy friend Gary Ashe, who I went to school with in South Africa, was already running Dream Doors\u2019 Woking and Guildford showroom, and he is the one who convinced me to come on board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI spoke to the management team at Dream Doors and when Barnham became available I decided to take it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite being introduced to the Dream Doors business model by a friend, Neil said he made his decision based on the strength of the company\u2019s business model and the ongoing support on offer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deciding factor for me was the training,\u201d said Neil, \u201cI had been in the motor industry for almost my whole career, so it was a complete change for me and I needed some guidance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe training on offer, the support of the network and the dedication of the business development managers were the clinchers for me.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Franchisee Neil Fisher followed in the footsteps of a childhood friend to launch his own Dream Doors trading territory.
