Snap-on Tools, the world-famous man-in-a-van franchise, has welcomed a wealth of new talent into its network. As seven new franchisees hit the road and two existing business owners expand into second territories, both they, and Snap-on, have much to celebrate!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m over the moon to have joined Snap-on,\u201d\u00a0<\/i>says Tim Ismet,\u00a0<\/b>who has just launched his franchise in Enfield.\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s one of the most recognisable brands in the world, and as former workshop technician, I can really vouch for the fact that they\u2019re the best tools in the business. I\u2019ve always been quite entrepreneurially minded, so when the territory near me became available, I jumped at the chance.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

As Snap-on approach their 100th<\/sup>\u00a0year anniversary \u2013 the renowned tool brand first launched in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2020 \u2013 more budding entrepreneurs than ever before are looking to invest in a franchise of their own. The UK network is now comprised of over 430 franchisees, all delivering outstanding customer service to technicians up and down the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d always been impressed by how helpful the local Snap-on man was, back when I was working in the workshops. I\u2019m a real people person, so spending time chatting with regular customers really appealed to me. Plus, I wanted to build a better future for my wife and kids. I did consider opening my own garage for a little while, but nothing could contend with the support you get as a Snap-on franchisee. It just made sense. To have unlimited support at the end of the phone is so beneficial to my business and has set me up really well,\u201d\u00a0<\/i>adds Tim.<\/i><\/p>\n

Before working as a technician, Tim was a Main Dealer Parts Manager, looking after the operations of a small team at garages around Greater London. His combined experience has offered him a great start as a franchisee, but experience of the motor trade isn\u2019t necessary. Thanks to an award-winning training and support programme, prospects from a variety of backgrounds are maximising their potential by launching a Snap-on franchise.<\/p>\n
