The countdown to the Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Annual Conference, on Thursday 19th September, is well underway! Here’s a taste of what’s in store.

The event is due to take place on Thursday 19th September at Mercure Brandon Hall Hotel & Spa, Coventry. The Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) conference offers members time to come together, network, share ideas and expertise, hear about EWIF developments, and enjoy some inspirational guest speakers.

EWIF is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. Our primary focus is to support women looking for a route into franchising. Our remit is threefold: To encourage women to consider buying a franchise, to encourage business women to franchise their existing businesses, and to help franchisors attract more women to their networks.

One of the ways we support our members, and women interested in franchising, is at our Annual Conference. And this year’s keynote speaker is the inspirational, Caroline Pankhurst. She is representative of EWIF’s values; to empower, to inspire and to educate. Caroline will be bringing an uplifting segment to the conference. Caroline changed her last name to Pankhurst in 2014, committing herself to feminism, equality and diversity and to cement a feminist dimension to herself and her business. Come along to discover why she felt changing her name empowered her to achieve this.

Caroline founded Be Braver, a purpose-led organisation empowering teams and individuals to realise their personal potential, and commercial growth. This achieved when a company is committed to change, by following a programme aimed at understanding the strategy and process individuals are invested into. As a coach, speaker, gender equality and diversity advocate, Caroline aims to enable women to become the most fearless, bravest versions of themselves. For each of us to become our own “HERoes”, realise our full potential and achieve seemingly impossible goals.

With the help of a panel of EWIF Award winners 2019, including; Anne-Marie Martin of diddi dance, Christina Taylor-Chisholm of Popolo Ceramico and Jo Stone of Puddle Ducks, Caroline will be delving into The Be Braver Model: Clarity, Confidence and Courage. She will demonstrate how having the right mind-set, purpose and tools we can all achieve extra-ordinary things. You just need to choose to Be Your Own HERo.
