Great news for travel abroad and for those looking to view beautiful lifestyle property overseas. On Monday, the Spanish Foreign Minister confirmed British/Irish tourists would be allowed into Spain from the start of next week following on from the coronavirus lockdown.
Spanish Government sources confirmed on Sunday evening that despite having left the bloc earlier this year, the United Kingdom is still considered an EU member state given that it is in a transition period and enjoys full membership rights.
This means that UK travellers will also be able to enter Spain from June 21.
We have been working with all our overseas developers to introduce new and safe ways for our clients’ to view properties during the Covid-19 pandemic. We introduced virtual tours and set up online meetings between our overseas consultants, our clients’ and also the developers.
We have been able to showcase all our latest property releases without having to travel overseas during lockdown. However, we are now very keen to explore the safest options for our clients’ to view our beautiful properties in person. We will continue to develop these plans over the coming weeks adhering to all guidelines.
We will also be working on delivering our training overseas for new Property Partners in the very near future, enabling them to get a proper insight into how everything works with the lawyers, banks and developers when it comes to safely completing a sale abroad.
