Dan Proctor and Sophie Holden are the youngest members of our network, proving age is no barrier to success. Dan purchased his first franchise in the Gravesend and Dartford location in 2016, having previously worked within an agency background. With the help of two inventory clerks, Dan quickly expanded his business by focusing on delivering excellent customer service.
Within the second year Dan made the decision to purchase the neighbouring territory, Medway with his partner Sophie. Whilst he did not plan a second purchase so soon, he recognised the strong potential of the new location, and did not want to miss out. Dan explains why he chose to expand his business so quickly. “My existing business was growing at a consistent level, and by undertaking research in the adjoining area, I realised it had the same growth potential. My partner Sophie also came from an agency background, and knew it had a thriving rental market – it was a bold decision to take on a second location so quickly, but with the back up of Head Office, I knew it was the right decision.”
Dan and Sophie have generated most of their new clients from referring agents, as they have established themselves as a trusted supplier, with high quality reporting that will protect rental properties in the event of a deposit dispute. Sophie explains what she enjoys about owning a business. “I am loving being my own boss, and with the additional support of the No Letting Go team I have the best of both worlds. I enjoy the variety, every day is different and having the freedom to manage my own time is wonderful”.
