The Client is a non-profit organisation and health charity. They operate a range of health and wellbeing facilities.
After completing various installation contracts for Philips, our expert supplier negotiated and finalised an ongoing contract for the installation of Philips LED lighting across the Health, Fitness & Wellbeing centers throughout the UK.
The first phase of the contract went very well and, with the client recognising the benefit of the new LED technology, we have begun the second phase roll-out.
Our suppliers are now working alongside Philips with regards to procurement, design and initialising the surveys to ensure that the contracts and installations run smoothly and with minimal disruption to their client. The benefit of the LED technology being installed is not only the fact that the annual running costs of all the sites have been reduced but their energy consumption, carbon emissions and annual maintenance has also decreased significantly, ensuring their organisation has a competitive edge.
Through our supplier, Philips provide a 5-year onsite parts and labour guarantee for all LED installations. Philips products last for around 20 years, far longer than the cheaper, inferior products.
Even large installations can expect to achieve a typical payback in around 3 years and customers can expect to achieve a 50% energy saving on straight replacement LEDs. Energy savings can increase to up to 80% if lighting control is added.
