Award-winning virtual agency Get Ahead VA is delighted to welcome two new franchisees, marking a record-breaking start to 2020 for the business.

Get Ahead VA offers nationwide marketing and business support services enabling businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to get ahead. From bookkeeping to blogging, database management to design and telephone answering to Twitter, their team of highly skilled virtual assistants delivers support on an hourly, project or ongoing basis.

Marie Peters joins the business with over 15 years’ experience in digital media planning, business operations and project management roles. Marie will be running the West Surrey region, supporting businesses from Farnham up to Kingston-upon-Thames. After meeting Rebecca and the team from Get Ahead VA at the Women in Business Expo, Marie knew she had found the new challenge that she was looking for.

HR expert Jo Munroe has over 15 years of experience in recruitment, HR and business management. Jo has joined Get Ahead VA as regional director for South Yorkshire including Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield & Worksop. Jo found Get Ahead VA on a franchise website and could immediately see how the opportunity fitted perfectly with her background of helping to grow businesses. Buying the franchise would enable her to run her own business but also be part of a team, being supported along the way.

Both women will be working flexibly around their families, growing their own teams and attracting new clients to the business.

A growing national network

Rebecca Newenham, founder and director of Get Ahead VA says: “I am delighted to welcome both new franchisees to our team. With regional directors in Berkshire & North Hants, Bristol, Guildford, Leeds, Newcastle and South Yorkshire, as well as West Surrey, we have an expanding presence in many key regional areas. I look forward to seeing our team continue to grow over the coming months and supporting all of our franchisees as they welcome new clients on board.”
