Language for Fun is set to spring into its second decade after celebrating ten years in business.

The language teaching firm – which marked the anniversary with parties around the UK – has big plans for 2018 including a new website and state-of-the-art business management system.

Founder Jessica Bonnard has also recruited new colleagues to help provide even better support to more than 70 licensees and tutors.

She said: “My first goal was to get 50 licensees by our tenth birthday. My next goal is to make sure that we provide five-star support so that we can grow to 500 licensees in the next decade.”

Jessica started Language for Fun with a handful of students in her hometown of Newcastle-under-Lyme but now boasts more than 1,000 at franchises all over the country.

They study French, Italian and Spanish using her stress-free method designed to help learners hold fun conversations.

The company has more than tripled in size in five years – and new innovations mean there has never been a better time to get involved.

Jessica added: “Our new website will give the brand a fresh feel and make it easier for learners to find a class near them, while the business management system will make admin a breeze for licensees.”

The mum-of-one was recently thrilled to recruit her first teachers in Scotland, adding to centres as widespread as London, Leeds and Southampton.

She now hopes to expand the business even further and aims to have 500 language schools within the next decade.

Language for Fun licensees do not need to be qualified teachers, as long as they are fluent in Spanish, Italian or French.

Training, mentoring and lesson plans are all included in the license fee as well as branded promotional materials and a step-by-step marketing guide.
