The AFA is delighted to announce its First Annual Awards Ceremony, taking place on Thursday 19th September at Jury’s Inn in Milton Keynes.
The announcement was made at the recent AFA National Conference, which took place on Thursday 28th March.
These awards are designed to celebrate the incredible achievements made not only by AFA members, but the wider, UK franchising community as a whole. With categories covering franchisors, franchisees, suppliers and partners, the AFA Awards will recognise and reward these valuable contributions, all of which are essential to the development and growth of this rapidly evolving sector.
This glittering, black-tie event will be a unique opportunity for franchising leaders and professionals from across the UK to rub shoulders with the crème de la crème of the franchising sector. The evening will kick off with a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous Gala Dinner.
The Awards Ceremony will be hosted by Celia Delaney, a highly engaging expert in public speaking and persuasion. Celia is renowned for her insightful approach, drawn from her background in psychology, performance and people management.
A keynote speaker, and executive coach, Celia has published a series of online videos and courses called SpeakingSuccess TV. Known for her excellent sense of humour, she is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association, an accolade held by fewer than one hundred people in the UK, and was recently named the PSA’s Speaker of the Year.
Awards will be presented across nine categories, including Best New Franchise, Franchisee of the Year and Franchisor of the Year. On the night, a Bronze, Silver and Gold winner in each category will be announced.
