AIMS Accountants for Business have made a milestone appointment for the company by appointing the first COO in their 25-year history.
David Vasey (above) has been appointed to head up a new program of operational streamlining and strategic development. He will be working with AIMS’ 200-strong network of local accountants across the UK to help them provide a more efficient, effective service to their small-business client base. David comes to AIMS with over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance, having held senior operational roles at Lehman Brothers and Nomura International.
Henry Ejdelbaum, Managing Director of AIMS, comments that “David’s appointment marks the start of exciting times for AIMS. With 200 Accountants all operating individual offices, it can be difficult to unify systems and strategy. David will be vital in helping to develop a unified, organised service that provides high-quality accounting to every client, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
