Donna Garratty is the Area Director for the three territories of School is Easy Lichfield & National Forest, Sutton Coldfield & Tamworth, and Solihull. Donna is a qualified and experienced trainer, business and performance coach, recruiter, account manager and sales professional. In her successful career in the field of personal and professional development Donna has had the privilege of working with individuals and businesses in the public and private sector, all to make a difference, and often by helping others to overcome stress and trauma to achieve their goals.

Prior to becoming an Area Director with School is Easy, Donna was a franchisee in an alternative business and built up her franchise to be the number one territory before selling it on.

Donna says ‘I have always been passionate about moving people from where they are now, to where they want to be. One of my strengths is recruiting tutors with diverse personalities and teaching approaches. This enables me to facilitate the most effective student-tutor relationship, and provide laser focussed teaching through our outstanding tutors so that every student can make significant progress. We understand that each student is different, with different learning styles. It is for this reason I work closely with families and teachers to ensure that we get exactly the right tutor for every student.
I bring my experience and enthusiasm to children and adults alike. I work in a consultative partnership with students, parents, tutors and schools.

When asked if Donna has any tips for anyone starting a franchise business her response was ‘research thoroughly to ensure that the business you’re investing in meets your lifestyle needs and financial goals (i.e. working hours vs family commitments and will it support you and your family during the term of the franchise). Choosing the right franchise enables those wanting their own business to work for themselves without working alone. Much of the hard work has been done and methods for running the business are tried and tested. A good franchisor will provide the support needed through the highs and lows of owning a business.’
