Home care franchise, Heritage Healthcare, has been named a finalist within three categories at the Leaders in Care Awards.
The finalists were announced on Monday 9th September by Home Care Insight, the hosts of the Leaders in Care awards. Out of the four award categories for Home Care Providers, Heritage Healthcare was shortlisted for three: Home Care Provider of the Year, Innovation in Care and Executive of the Year.
Heritage Healthcare is a leading provider of home care and support services, allowing individuals to remain living in the comfort of their own home for longer. 22 UK based franchise offices and 2 company-owned care offices deliver high-quality services such as personal care, companionship, domestic help, dementia support and palliative care, provided by a team of trained and professional Care Assistants.
“The network has achieved ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings from CQC, seven of which were welcomed this year,” stated the Home Care Insights website on announcing Heritage Healthcare as finalists for the Home Care Provider of the Year award. “Over the last 12 months, the network has gone from strength to strength.”
The Heritage Healthcare Head Office, based in Darlington, County Durham, provides bespoke support to its franchise network, with an experienced in-house team providing guidance on business plans, finance, marketing, recruitment and development. This bespoke support is not seen in most franchise companies and has paved the way for the team to be shortlisted for Innovation in Care, an award sponsored by everyLife Technologies.
Franchise Director, Michelle Fenwick QFP, has been named a finalist for Executive of the Year for the significant support she provides the Heritage Healthcare franchise network. “Michelle’s knowledge of the industry enables her to provide franchisees with a unique standard of support, whilst monitoring and encouraging their performance,” continued the Home Care Insight website. “Michelle dedicates a lot of time to the franchise community. She is a regular attendee of events hosted by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF), where she shares best practice of care management and discovers new strategies that will benefit the Heritage Healthcare network.”
This fantastic news has been welcomed into a year of success for Heritage Healthcare. In May 2019, the company took home two awards at the Home Care Awards for Best National Support Team and Most Outstanding Home Care Provider. The in-house marketing team are also in the running for two prestigious marketing awards; In-house Marketing Team of the Year at the North East Marketing Awards and Best Franchisee Marketing Support at the Franchise Marketing Awards.
