Here at Kare Plus, we are firm believers that the strength of our brand lies within our national network of offices, all of whom strive to make a positive difference to their local communities.

Ever since she opened the doors to her franchise in 2013, Dr Louise May has strived to deliver the highest possible standard of care and first-class customer service within her local community. Commencing her journey in the Wirral, Louise soon expanded to Liverpool and today stands as one of the leading providers of temporary staffing, home care and support services in the region.

Throughout her franchise journey, Louise’s passion and dedication have truly shone through. Her commitment to providing quality, well-led care now also shines through her refreshed office windows which have been redesigned with Louise to act as a visual aid, showcasing the plethora of support she can provide to her community audience from within her franchise.

The service Louise provides is not just focused on care delivery, however, as part of her mission to support her local community, Louise has established numerous partnerships over the years, the latest of which is with the NEO Community.

NEO is a charity at the forefront of reducing food waste and food insecurity through awareness, education, and food provision within the Wirral. It provides a community mini-supermarket and food bank using reclaimed food from large supermarket chains to distribute to families in need. Kare Plus Wirral has donated a driver and vehicle one day per week at no cost to NEO to distribute crisis food hampers.

Louise hopes her involvement will raise awareness of the fantastic services being provided by the charity and will aid the delivery of key messages promoting the growth of self-sustaining, resilient communities.

Charities such as NEO are of great importance to many, especially in times of economic challenge and difficulty. The support that can be provided helps many who struggle to financially or physically access food including many older people, those with disabilities, and people who have no recourse to public funds. Louise said;

“Kare Plus Wirral is embedded in this community and is proud to make our own contribution to tackling poverty by supporting groups like NEO but also by offering jobs in health and social care to local people. Our commitment to NEO is a tangible demonstration of our values, helps to reduce food waste and empowers local people to help each other”.
