In its CQC report, Right at Home Havant and District, which is run by owner Duncan Cameron, noted that: “There was consistent, excellent feedback from everyone we spoke to about the leadership of the service including the provider and registered manager.” It continued: “People received excellent person-centred care where staff knew people exceptionally well. People were encouraged to live their lives as fully and independently as possible.” The office, which covers Havant, Emsworth, Waterlooville, Petersfield and Hayling Island, opened in January 2016.

Right at Home Solent – which covers Southampton, Fareham and Gosport – is owned and managed by Kev and Amy Popat. The inspection was Kev and Amy’s first, making the achievement even more impressive. Its CQC report praised Kev and Amy’s team saying: “This service is rated as Outstanding because of the extensive evidence of exceptional care and staff going the extra mile to put people at the forefront of all the service hoped to achieve. The feedback from people and relatives was consistently positive and exceptional and it was clear there was a person-centred culture.”

Speaking on the CQC ratings, Right at Home CEO Ken Deary said: “Congratulations to both offices on this excellent achievement. We are delighted they have been recognised by the CQC for their hard work and dedication to providing the highest quality care to Clients. We are incredibly proud of the Right at Home network, which has achieved four Outstanding ratings from the CQC since April.”
