1. What inspired you to start your own BabyBeats franchise?
I was inspired to start my own franchise after attending classes with my own children, wanting a change from my teaching career and seeing the flexibility and freedom it provided. I attended classes with my first born in 2022 and fell in love with BabyBeats instantly, I then returned with my second child in 2024. I knew I couldn’t go back to my full time teaching role and I felt like BabyBeats was teaching of a different kind.
2.Did you have a background in fitness, education or early
years before joining BabyBeats?
I was a primary school teacher, for almost 10 years, before starting my franchise. I have always had a passion for exercise and movement but did not have a background in fitness.
3.What made BabyBeats stand out compared to other
franchise opportunities?
BabyBeats stood out because I had attended the classes and knew the instructor well. I trusted and admired her work and knew that if she was doing well, I would too! I found the franchisor to be very supportive from the offset and particularly enjoyed that my initial
meeting was with my babe in arms – this made me feel completely supported as a working mum and welcomed in comparison to my previous role.
4.What has been the most rewarding part of running your
BabyBeats franchise?
I can’t choose just one! I absolutely love connecting new mums with each other and with local services; providing an essential support network and community which is so vital in the early days of motherhood. I feel rewarded when mums book on to a term and see
a real difference in themselves after giving their bodies some time and space to heal and strengthen. Mums rarely put themselves first but by providing a space to move and bond with baby they often leave feeling relaxed and re-energised for the day ahead.
