Seniors Helping Seniors Signs a new franchise for Brighton and Hove during Lockdown

“We were lucky to welcome someone with Mike Dooley’s experience to the Seniors Helping Seniors team” Christian Wilse says.

Opening Seniors Helping Seniors Brighton and Hove where he lives with family, Mike brings the experience of running a hugely successful elderly care company with him. Mike started his first care company six and a half year’s ago and was franchise of the year in 2014.

A seasoned franchisee, Mike’s first franchise was Insurance. He moved to care where he says his heart lies and he ran two territories for another care franchise before he found Seniors Helping Seniors.

Mike has recently returned to the UK after some well-earned time off in Costa Rica.

Mike watched in horror as the country left the elderly to fend for themselves during the lockdown and he feels the time is right for him to use his care experience to help people as they look for viable care options.

Families are stressed out about their loved ones and the long-term implications of C-19 on the type of elderly care people want.  Mike knows why traditional elderly care companies struggled and one month after his launch he says, “Seniors Helping Seniors is a breath of fresh air, for him, and clients and carers”

“Seniors Helping Seniors offer the care people need at a fair price. The simplicity of flat fees is really important because people need to budget for the long term and I love everything about the carer policies of the brand.  Seniors Helping Seniors pays carers properly and supports them fully. Carers work when it suits them and when they want to and I know how vital that is. We are allowed to give the time needed to each client and treat each person as an individual, matching staff with the relevant life experience, interests and personality. This is very special and it is a breath of fresh air compared to traditional in home care companies.”

Seniors Helping Seniors is highly recommended. It’s award-winning customer service gave people peace of mind and kept people safe and well throughout the pandemic.

Financially, time-wise and what it means for the day to day concentration on point of care, Mike knows the positives that come with being ‘out of scope with the CQC’ and the positive impact it will have on his business.

He and Christian Wilse signed Mike’s franchise agreement at the height of lockdown.  The agreement and training process has been adapted for social distancing and the deal was sealed with an elbow-bump instead of the Seniors Helping Seniors customary handshake and hugs.
