This past weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to support the Tour de l’Avenir in Solihull, a prestigious event that saw around 180 youth and junior riders competing in various stages over two days of intense racing. As The Bike Fitters, our mission goes beyond just bike fitting; we’re passionate about the cycling community and fostering young talent, making this event a perfect fit for us.
Our road trip down to Solihull was filled with anticipation and excitement. Arriving at the event, we were greeted by the vibrant energy of young riders, their families, and supporters. The sight of enthusiastic young cyclists, all geared up and ready to race, was nothing short of inspiring.
It reminded us why we do what we do – supporting cyclists of all ages to achieve their best performance and enjoy their ride.
Engaging with the Community
One of the highlights of the day was the chance to engage with the local community. We had fantastic conversations with mums, dads and kids about all things bikes. It was heartening to see so many families passionate about cycling and eager to learn more about how proper bike fitting can enhance their riding experience.
We also received a lot of interest in the territories we have available around the Solihull area. It’s clear that there’s a strong demand for professional bike fitting services so we’re excited to see where those conversations take us to help us bring our expertise to more cyclists, ensuring they ride in comfort and with optimal performance.
