We’re delighted to welcome on board our two newest franchisees, Kate and Lyndsey!
Kate will be running Spaghetti Maths Wirral and has come from years of being a primary school teacher in her local area. Wanting a better work-life balance and a chance to own her own business, Spaghetti Maths was a perfect choice for her.
Lyndsey will be running Spaghetti Maths North Down and Belfast, so we’ve now expanded overseas! Lyndsey came to us from a background in kitchen design and running pre-school music sessions, which just goes to show there are a variety of routes to Spaghetti Maths. All you need is to share our values and want to bring maths joy to children near you!
We had a brilliant few days with Kate and Lyndsey here at our Nottingham Head Office for training in July. Spaghetti Maths really is a business in a box, with access to 36 bespoke after-school club sessions and resources to support all our other income streams: workshops, birthday parties, holiday clubs and mini-maths (for pre-schoolers). Kate and Lyndsey took home all of these starter resources, plus full training and all of our top tips on being successful in schools. They will also access our ongoing support network of existing franchise owners, who are always here to offer help and advice about what has worked for them.
And Kate and Lyndsey have both made a roaring start! They have their first schools booked and delivering clubs already, with great feedback from parents and children and a long list of schools wanting clubs in subsequent half terms. We’re so excited to be expanding Spaghetti Maths and enthusing more children with the wonder of maths! We now want to build on this and get Spaghetti Maths into more areas of the UK where we know schools are asking for us.
