Fresh off the back of the successful return of the National Franchise Exhibition, PGH Beegone Franchising Limited has announced the recruitment of its second franchisee who will run his pest control and live bee removal business in the southern Birmingham area.
PGH Beegone is a relatively new franchise, which launched in December 2020, and prides itself on solving pest problems others can’t while also being the only franchise in the UK to offer live bee removal. The franchise’s approach to recruitment has been cautious; low numbers of franchisees were deliberately planned for the first year to allow the business to form a strong foundation from which build on.
The franchisor’s first branch, PGH Beegone Bury St Edmunds, launched at the end of April 2021 and, much to owner David Hasler’s delight, is outperforming its targets – having taken £120k + VAT in sales in its first six months!
It was PGH Beegone’s first time at the National Franchise Exhibition but with live bees and a falcon on the stand they made sure they weren’t missed! With over 85 exhibitors and it was a tentative but welcome return to live events. PGH Beegone reported coming away with five strong leads hoping to attend one of their upcoming Discovery Sessions and many more visitors to their stand which was an important brand-building exercise for this emerging franchisor.
