The Wheel Specialist has announced that a brand new branch of its alloy wheel refurbishment Franchise will be opening its doors for business this summer in Birmingham. Being the UK’s only national alloy wheel refurbishment franchise to operate from fixed premises; this will be their twenty sixth branch.
Birmingham body shop veterans and brothers, Stephen & Chris Chubb, decided to invest in their own Franchise of TWS after feeling that there was a gap in the local market for quality premises based wheel refurbishment and diamond cutting. Stephen Chubb said: “Our existing family business, Geoffrey Chubb Crash Repair Centre, has been in operation for 50 years, so we’ve naturally seen a lot of damaged wheels in our time. We know that if you want to do this job right then you need proper process, equipment and strategy. Having proven their business model twenty five times over, and, being the only national company in this sector, The Wheel Specialist was the natural choice.”
When asked, The Wheel Specialist told Bodyshop Mag that they carry out wheel refurbishment work for well over 700 body shops across the country. Aside from business success, this shows the huge number of UK repair centre’s now outsourcing wheel work in order to create additional revenue and save time, as well as those buying into a TWS Franchise to capitalise on their existing customer base.
